Service Description
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle therapeutic treatment designed to support the body’s natural lymphatic system and encourage healthy fluid movement throughout the body. Following surgery, the body can experience swelling, fluid retention, tightness, discomfort, and feelings of heaviness as part of the healing process. MLD uses soft rhythmic movements to help encourage lymphatic flow, reduce swelling, support circulation, and promote relaxation and recovery. This restorative treatment may help to: • Reduce post-operative swelling and fluid retention • Encourage comfort and relaxation • Support circulation and healing • Improve feelings of lightness and mobility • Calm the nervous system during recovery • Support overall wellbeing and restoration MLD is commonly used as part of a post-surgical recovery pathway and may be especially beneficial following abdominal, cosmetic, orthopaedic, or gynaecological procedures. At Cotswold Wellness Clinic, all treatments are delivered with gentle clinician-led care, compassion, and an understanding of the emotional and physical recovery journey following surgery.

Booking & Cancellation Policy At Cotswold Wellness Clinic, we understand that recovery, health, and personal circumstances can sometimes change unexpectedly. We aim to provide a calm, compassionate, and professional service for every client, while also protecting appointment time and travel arrangements. Booking Policy Appointments are confirmed once booking arrangements have been agreed. Home wellness visits are offered across Chipping Campden and surrounding Cotswold villages. A brief consultation or enquiry may be required prior to confirming appointments to ensure services are suitable for your needs. Cancellation Policy We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes wherever possible. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee. Missed appointments without notice may be charged in full. Home Visit Safety Cotswold Wellness Clinic reserves the right to refuse or discontinue visits where there are concerns regarding safety, aggression, inappropriate behaviour, intoxication, or circumstances outside the clinician’s professional scope. Medical Emergencies Cotswold Wellness Clinic provides non-emergency wellness support only and does not replace medical care, hospital treatment, or emergency services. If you experience a medical emergency or sudden deterioration in your condition, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services immediately.
